Registered Massage Therapy

Registered Massage Therapy is safe, effective health care for a wide range of conditions. Megan draws from an extensive toolbox to create each treatment which can include a blend of Systemic Deep Tissue Therapy(TM), muscle energy technique, myofascial release, and neuromuscular therapy according to the needs of each individual patient.

Megan has been happily practicing massage therapy for over 10 years. Megan graduated from the West Coast College of Massage Therapy in 2010 where she won an award for her case study research on Thoracic Outlet Syndrome. She completed her Bachelor of Health Sciences from Thompson Rivers University in 2018.

Megan has long had an interest in persistent pain and various musculoskeletal conditions. Ever since she was a student, she has wanted to better understand why sometimes, even though tissues have healed, the pain remains. She has taken numerous courses with some of the best researchers and clinicians in the field to better understand persistent pain and how to treat it. She believes in the transformative power of massage therapy and finds tremendous satisfaction in using her skills to help her patients feel their best.

She understands how experiencing pain can be a really scary thing. She loves being able to use a combination of education, hands-on treatment, and homecare to empower her clients.

Megan has now set her sights on incorporating therapeutic exercise and rehabilitation and principles of trauma-informed care into her practice. She strongly believes that all bodies are good bodies, and is always open to a conversation to see if she might be a good fit for your massage therapy needs.
